  1. Prepare 1 Pork Roast
  2. Prepare 1 Bag of Dry Red Beans
  3. Get 72 oz Chicken Both
  4. Make ready 36 oz water
  5. Prepare 1 Pork Bone
  6. Prepare 1 can 14 oz. Diced Tomato
  7. Get 4 Large Carrots
  8. Prepare 1 Yellow Onion
  9. Get 4 Sticks of Celery
  10. Get 3 Large Potatos
  11. Take 2 clove Garlic
  12. Take 3 tbsp Bacon Bits
  13. Take 1 tbsp Red Pepper Flake
  14. Prepare 1 tsp Chili Power
  15. Prepare 1 tsp Parsley
  16. Take 1 tsp Paprika
  17. Prepare 1 tsp Sage

Instructions to make Pork and Red Bean Soup:
  1. Soak red beans in water overnight. Rinse off thoroughly before putting them in pot.
  2. Put in a large cook pot with chicken broth, water, beans, pork bone. Bring to a boil and let cook as you prepare other ingredients. You may want to turn down heat to just a slight noil.
  3. Saute carrots onions celery red pepper flake and bacon bits and chopped up garlic. Once sauteed to your liking add to pot.
  4. Add in chopped up pre cooked pork, which maybe left overs from another dinner, potatoes sliced in round pieces, with or without skin, 14 oz can of Diced Tomato with juices, and all the seasonings listed and whatever else you would like to add. Do be careful not to splash yourself when adding these ingredients.
  5. Let slow boil for an hour and turn down to a simmer and let cook until ready a good hour or two. You may need to add more broth or water at some point.
  6. When done pull out pork bone and serve. Enjoy!
