  8. Take Ingredients for seasoning idli batter-
  9. Prepare 2 tbsp oil for seasoning
  10. Make ready 1 teaspoon small mustard
  11. Make ready 1 tablespoon white sesame seeds
  12. Take 1 onions finely chopped
  13. Prepare 3 tbsp grated coconut
  14. Make ready 1/2 cup finely cut coriander leaves

  16. Make ready 1 onion finely chopped

Suddenly the idea struck me, i wanted to create a steamed chocolate idli cake recipe on my own. The very next day i was in the kitchen experimenting the recipe. Instead of maida can i use wheat flour and instead of sugar palmsugar or brown sugar? Just for a healthy version of this choco idli.

Steps to make Brown bread Veggie idli cup cake:
  1. Cut all the four sides of brown bread with the help of knife.
  2. Make bread crumbs from 6 slices of bread with the help of food processor or you can break them with your hand into small pieces.
  3. Now add these bread crumbs in a deep bowl.
  4. Now addin rice flour, curd, salt, Water in a bread crumb bowl and mix all the ingredients with the help of spoon.
  5. Keep it aside for 10-15 minutes.
  6. After 10 minutes transfer all the ingredients to a mixer jar.
  7. Blend all the ingredients by adding some water to make a smooth idli batter.
  8. Now heat 2 tablespoon of oil in a small pan and add all the seasoning ingredients stir fry until nice aroma start coming and switch of the flame.
  9. Add in chopped coriander leaves to the seasoning and alow it to cool for 2-3 minutes.
  10. Now transfer this seasoning to the bread idli batter.
  11. Now ready the brown bread veggie idli cup cake topping -transfer all the ingredients of idli cup cake topping in a bowl and mix.
  12. Grease all the silicon cup moulds with some oil.
  13. Now pour this bread idli batter into greased moulds and fill upto half.
  14. Spread some bread idli cup cake topping over each silicon cups.
  15. Over this topping spread some red chilli powder,chaat masala and grated cheese as per your taste.
  16. Keep all the silicon cups inside the microwave and microwave them for 3-5 minutes.
  17. Microwave timing will change according to the capacity of your microwave.
  18. You can check by inserting tooth pick at the centre of idli cup cake if it comes out clean then your brown bread idli cup cakes are ready.
  19. You can ready these bread idli veggie cup cakes also in the oven at 180 degree centigrate for 12-15 minutes.
  20. Allow them to cool and demould the idli cup cake moulds.
