The ingredients needed to make Baked Orzo Pasta:
  1. Take 2 cups uncooked orzo pasta
  2. Make ready 2 tsp garlic powder
  3. Prepare 1.5 tsp onion powder
  4. Make ready 1 tsp salt or to taste
  5. Prepare 1.5 tbsp butter
  6. Get For the meat sauce
  7. Get 300 gr chicken breast
  8. Make ready 5 slices Chicken ham cut into small pieces
  9. Get 1 big carrot cut into small cubes
  10. Make ready 2 stalks cellery cut into small cubes
  11. Prepare 5 pcs Button mushroom, cut into small cubes
  12. Make ready 1 tbsp minced garlic
  13. Get 1 big yellow onion, diced
  14. Take 1 packet cooking cream
  15. Take 1 packet chicken stock (200ml)
  16. Prepare to taste Salt, pepper
  17. Take 1 tbsp plain flour and 1 big egg

Instructions to make Baked Orzo Pasta:
  1. Cook the orzo pasta as per package instruction. Not too soft please. Season with garlic powder, onion powder and salt. Add 1.5 tbsp of butter. Set aside.
  2. Cut chicken breast into bite size, marinate with 1 tsp of salt and black pepper for 15 minutes
  3. Heat up oil or butter in a pan, saute the garlic and minced onion until fragrant. Add the chicken, cook until no longer pink, add carrot and celery, cook until softened. Lastly add mushroom. Once the vegatables are cooked, add in a package of cooking cream and chicken stock. Gentle simmer for few minutes. Season with salt and black pepper. Mix in a tablespoon of plain flour, and continue cooking until the sauce is thicken slightly.
  4. Off the heat, let it coola bit and then add one egg. Mix well. Add in the cooked orzo pasta. Mix well and transfer the pasta and sauce to the baking pan
  5. Sprinkle cheese, cheese and more cheese
  6. Baked 190 degree celcius for 15-20 minutes until the cheese melts
