The ingredients needed to make Protein rich pulao:
  1. Make ready 1 1/2 cup rice
  2. Take 1/4 cup boiled rajma(kidney beans)
  3. Make ready 2 tablespoon boiled lobia
  4. Prepare 1/4 cup small diced carrot
  5. Prepare 1/4 cup small diced potatoes
  6. Make ready 1/4 cup small diced capsicum
  7. Take to taste Salt
  8. Take 2 tablespoon ghee
  9. Prepare 2 cloves
  10. Make ready 1 tablespoon chopped cashew nuts
  11. Take 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  12. Prepare 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
  13. Make ready 1/4 teaspoon garam masala
  14. Prepare 1 teaspoon sugar
  15. Prepare as needed water
  16. Prepare as needed mint leaves for garnishing

Steps to make Protein rich pulao:
  1. Firstly wash the rice for 4-5 times. Then add 3 cups of water and add salt. Cook the rice.
  2. Now transfer the cooked rice into mash sieve and strain it. Let it cool down.
  3. Now heat a pan and add ghee. Now add cloves and cashew nuts. Saute for a minute on low flame.
  4. Then add diced potatoes and diced carrot. Add some salt and turmeric, mix it well. Add half cup of water and cover the lid. Let it cook.
  5. Now check potatoes, and make sure there is no water left in pan. Then add diced capsicum, boiled rajma, boiled lobia, red chilli powder and garam masala.
  6. Now add cooked rice and sugar. Mix it smoothly. Cover the lid and cook it for 2 minutes.
  7. Now protein rich pulao is ready to serve. Garnish with mint leaves and serve it with raita or kadhi.
