  1. Make ready 4 cups water
  2. Take 1 spoon fresh coarsely grounded pepper
  3. Take 1 spoon cumin seeds
  4. Prepare 1 spoon crushed coriander seeds
  5. Take 1 1/2 spoon dry ginger powder
  6. Prepare 3 cardamoms
  7. Make ready 6 cloves
  8. Make ready 1 inch cinnammon
  9. Take few tulsi leaves
  10. Take 1 kokum piece(optional)
  11. Prepare 10-12 shallots
  12. Make ready 1 tsp coffee powder/tea
  13. Get as required jaggery syrup/jaggery cube according to sweetness

Steps to make Chukku kappi (Herbal coffee):
  1. Slightly crush the coriander, pepper. Take all ingredients in a plate (so tht nothing to be missed.)you can either make powders of dry ingredients and store but I prefer freshly grounded.
  2. I used jaggery syrup 2-3 spoons or as per your sweetness. Take a pot in which you are going to make coffee add all the ingredients and jaggery.(here you can put jaggery cube too)
  3. Pour water and let it boil. Add coffee powder and let it boil till it reduces to 3 cups.
  4. Strain it and have it in intervals. It can be consumed 3 times a day. can be stored for 2 days in fridge. Better make it fresh each day.
