  1. Prepare 4 medium sized boiled and mashed potatoes
  2. Make ready 1/4 cup ghee
  3. Get 1 cup sugar or to taste
  4. Prepare 1/2 cup water
  5. Make ready 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
  6. Take 4 tbsps dessicated coconut
  7. Take 2 tbsps cashewnut powder

Steps to make Aloo ke laddoo:
  1. Heat a pan. Grease with little ghee. Add boiled and mashed potatoes. Add all the ghee and keep stirring on slow gas for 5-7 minutes. Keep aside.
  2. Make sugar syrup with water and sugar. Mix with mashed potatoes and keep again on heat stirring constantly avoiding lumps till all the syrup is absorbed.
  3. Add cardamom powder, dessicated coconut and cashewnut powder. Remove from heat. - cool and divide mixture into5- 6 parts. Shape them into laddoos.
  4. Decorate with chopped pistachios, desiccated coconut, saffron strands and glazed cherries. - Serve the platter decorated with Tulsi leaves and fresh rose petals.
