  1. Get Kale——————
  2. Get 16 ounces kale before cooking
  3. Take 1 cup water
  4. Take 1/4 cup distilled white vinegar
  5. Get 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  6. Make ready 1/4 pound bacon
  7. Get Beef————————–
  8. Make ready 1/2 pound ground chuck
  9. Prepare 1/2 cup finely diced potatoes
  10. Prepare 1 tablespoon dehydrated onions

Steps to make Kale, Beef, and Bacon:
  1. To a pot add the bacon.
  2. Render the fat from the bacon for 7 minutes. Add the water, salt, sugar and vinegar.
  3. Boil for 5 minutes.
  4. Add the kale into the liquids a little at a time let it wilt. It will loose 75% of volume.
  5. Simmer covered 30 minutes adding water as needed I added a cup in a half extra. Add the ground beef and cook till no longer pink. Mix well.
  6. Add the diced potatoes and onions.
  7. Cook 15 minutes covered. Adjust seasonings.
