  4. Get 1 cup water
  5. Make ready 1 packages vanilla instant pudding
  6. Make ready 4 eggs
  7. Get 1/2 bar Baker's German chocolate
  8. Take 6 oz chocolate chips
  9. Prepare topping
  10. Get 1/2 bar Baker's German chocolate
  11. Make ready 4 tbsp confectioner's sugar

Steps to make Chocolate Chip Cake:
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Beat together cake mix, oil, water, pudding mix, and eggs until smooth, about 2 minutes.
  3. Grate or finely chop chocolate bar and fold into batter. Pour batter into greased pan, recommended 13x9.
  4. Evenly sprinkle chocolate chips over top of batter and bake 40 to 45 minutes until tester comes out clean.
  5. While cake is baking, grate or finely chop other half of chocolate bar and mix with confectioner's sugar.
  6. Once cake is done, immediately spread sugar mixture over top. Allow to set at least 10 minutes prior to cutting to allow sugar to adhere to cake. Enjoy.
