The ingredients needed to make Chicken tikka buns:
  1. Take For dough:
  2. Take 1 cup all purpose flour
  3. Prepare 1/2 tsp sugar
  4. Get 1/2 tsp salt
  5. Get 1 tbs vegetable oil
  6. Take 1/2 tbs instant yeast
  7. Take 1/2 tbs milk powder
  8. Prepare 1/2 cup luke warm water

  11. Take 3 tbs tikka masala
  12. Get 2 tbsp lemon juice
  13. Take 2 tsp chilli sauce

Steps to make Chicken tikka buns:
  1. In a mixing bowl add flour, sugar, salt and milk powder and mix well.
  2. Then add instant yeast to it and mix again. Add oil. Now mix with hands while adding luke warm water (should not be hot) to form a soft dough.
  3. On the counter top, sprinkle some all purpose flour and knead the dough over it for 2 minutes.
  4. Keep the dough in a greased bowl, also grease the dough, cover it and let it rise for 1 hour.
  5. For chicken tikka filling, in abowl add chicken, tikka masala,lemon juice, chilli sauce and adrak lehsan paste and mix them all properly.let it marinate for 15 to 30 minutes.
  6. After 15 to 30 minutes cook the chicken until done and shred it when cooled.
  7. Now after the dough has raised, knead it one again for 2 minutes and divide it into 2 balls. Then roll each ball seperately with rolling pin about 9 to 10 inches big.
  8. Then cut it into 4 parts like shown in the picture. To each part add a bit chilli garlic sauce if you prefer and then add chicken tikka filling in the centre.
  9. Now fold the dough as shown in the picture and bind it using water.
  10. Now keep the buns in a baking tray or any pan you have, give the egg wash and sprinkle some sesame seeds or any seeds of your choice. And bake them at 180°c for 15 to 20 minutes.
  11. I have made the without oven thats why their color is a bit lighter but they are completely cooked and tastes amazing.
  12. A useful tip i would like to share with you guys…… Before eating these buns microwave them for 1 minute on medium speed so that they become even more soft and delicious.
