  1. Make ready Dough
  2. Take 1/2 cup warm water or milk
  3. Take 1 tbsp sugar
  4. Get 2 tbsp active dry yeast
  5. Take 2 cup hot water
  6. Prepare 1 dash salt
  7. Make ready 1/2 cup unsalted butter or margarine
  8. Get 1/2 cup sugar
  9. Take 2 eggs
  10. Prepare 5 cup all-purpose flour
  11. Prepare Filling
  12. Take 2 cup sugar
  13. Prepare 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  14. Get 4 apples (cortland or McIntosh)
  15. Make ready 1 cup unsalted butter

Steps to make Apple Cinnamon Buns:
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F
  2. Combine warm water or milk, sugar and yeast cover and let rise.
  3. Combine hot water, salt, butter,sugar and mix with mixer. Add eggs and keep mixing.
  4. Slowly add flour, cup by cup, while mixing until the dough doesn't sick to the bowl.
  5. Cover and let rise until doubled in size.
  6. Dump dough onto floured workspace and roll into rectangle about 1/2 inch thick.
  7. Mix sugar and cinnamon. Peel, core and dice apples. Melt butter.
  8. Spread butter over dough and sprinkle with sugar-cinnamon mix and apples.
  9. Roll up the dough over the long side for smaller buns and over the short side for larger buns.
  10. Cut roll into 1 inch slices, lay on baking sheet with parchment paper and bake for about 10 minutes. The buns angr done when they are yellow-brown. Let cool.
  11. Mix powdered sugar and milk. It takes just a little bit of milk to make a pasty consistency.
