  2. Take 150 grams Diced pork
  3. Take 50 ml Sake
  4. Take 1 tbsp Mirin
  5. Get 1 tbsp Sugar
  6. Get 1/2 tsp Chinese 5-spice powder
  7. Take 1 tbsp Soy sauce

Steps to make Braised Diced Pork and Daikon Radish with Chinese 5-Spice:
  1. Peel the daikon radish and cut into bite-sized pieces. If the diced pork seems too big, cut into bite-sized pieces as well.
  2. Parboil the daikon radish.
  3. Heat the skillet over low to medium heat, add the diced pork from Step 1, and pan-fry while rolling them around the skillet until browned on all sides.
  4. Add the daikon radish from Step 2 in the skillet and pan-fry over medium heat about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Add the Chinese 5-spice powder, sake, mirin, and sugar into the Step 4 skillet, and cook it over high heat for about 1-2 minutes.
  6. Cover the Step 5 skillet and turn down the heat to low. Simmer until the liquid is reduce to about 1/3.
  7. Drizzle the soy sauce into the Step 6 skillet. Move the skillet, so that the ingredients are evenly glazed with soy sauce.
  8. Ta-dah. Easy!
