  1. Take 2 cups cooked rice
  2. Prepare 3 tbsp plain flour
  3. Prepare 1 tbsp corn flour
  4. Make ready 1 tbsp finely chopped green chillies
  5. Get 1/2 cup chopped onions
  6. Get 1/2 cup grated processed cheese
  7. Get 2 pinches baking soda
  8. Get 1/4 tsp mustard powder
  9. Take 1/2 tbsp salt
  10. Make ready 1 cup oil for deep-frying

Instructions to make Rice balls:
  1. Mash the rice thoroughly in a deep bowl.
  2. Add all the remaining ingredients and mix well.
  3. Divide the mixture into 12 equal portions and shape each portion into a ball.
  4. Heat the oil in a deep non-stick kadhai and deep-fry a few balls at a time on a medium flame till they turn golden brown in colour from all the sides.
  5. Serve the rice and balls immediately with tomato ketchup.
