  2. Prepare 2 cups Water
  3. Get 4 tsp Oil
  4. Take 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
  5. Take 1 Chopped onion
  6. Take 1 Chopped Tomatoes
  7. Prepare 2 tsp Chopped green chillies
  8. Get 1 tsp Chana dal
  9. Get 1 pinch Asafoetida
  10. Prepare 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  11. Take 4 tsp Coconut milk
  12. Take 2 tsp Coriander leaves (chopped)
  13. Get 1 tsp Sambhar powder
  14. Prepare to taste Salt

Instructions to make Steamed Spicy Rice Balls:
  1. Boil 2 cups of water in the vessel add 1 tsp salt and 1 tsp oil, add coconut milk, asafoetida and slowly add rice flour and mix well, should not be lumps. cook well. Transfer to the plate. Allow to cool. Knead the dough till turns smooth texture. Make small balls with greased hands. Steam for 5 minutes in Idli cooker.
  2. Heat the Pan add 3 tsp of oil, add mustard seeds,Chana dal, chopped green chillies saute, add onion saute till turns golden colour and tomato saute for few minutes add turmeric powder, salt, sambhar powder mix well and cook for few minutes.
  3. Add rice steamed rice balls, mix well, cook for 2 minutes add Coriander leaves mix well, Garnish with Coriander leaves. steamed rice dumplings are ready to Serve.
  4. Healthy and tasty steamed spicy rice balls ready. Serve hot with coconut chutney or tomato ketchup. Enjoy.
