The ingredients needed to make Chicken wonton noodle:
  1. Make ready 2 portions egg noodles
  2. Take 400 grams chicken breast
  3. Make ready Spring onion, sliced
  4. Take 5 cloves garlic, diced
  5. Take 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  6. Take 1 tablespoon sweet soy sauce
  7. Make ready Half tablespoon sesame oil
  8. Prepare Half teaspoon ginger powder
  9. Get to taste Salt
  10. Get to taste Black pepper
  11. Make ready Vegetable oil
  12. Get Dumpling skin (for wonton)
  13. Make ready Wonton filling
  14. Prepare 200 grams chicken breast (either chopped small or bigger)
  15. Get 100 grams cremini or button mushroom (chopped similarly to the chicken breast)
  16. Make ready 2 eggs
  17. Get 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  18. Prepare 1 teaspoon sesame oil

Wontons: Place the chicken thighs and ginger in a food processor and blitz until finely minced. Wontons are served in a clear Chinese chicken broth. Sometimes with just wontons, sometimes with wontons and noodles, called "Combination Long and Short Soup" on Chinese restaurant menus. Instructions to make Chicken wonton noodle:
  1. Stir 5 cloves of garlic until they turn golden, then put in the chicken breast. Wait until the chicken turn light brown.
  2. Add the oyster sauce, sweet soy sauce, sesame oil, and ginger powder. Stir and add the salt and black pepper. Adjust to taste.
  3. Wait for 5-10 minutes and then put it aside.
  4. Mix the wonton filling ingredients. Take a teaspoon full of the filling onto the dumpling skin. Wrap the dumpling and make sure to spread water on the part of dumpling skin when it’s supposed to stick with another skin part. Do the rest of the wonton.
  5. The wonton can be boiled or pan-fried. As for this recipe, heat up vegetable oil in high heat then add the dumplings.
  6. After the bottom of the dumplings have turned light brown, pour in cold water until 1/3 of the dumplings is covered and immediately cover with a lid.
  7. The dumplings are cooked in approximately 5 minutes. Drain well.
  8. Boil the water, add in the egg noodles, and cook it for 5 minutes. Drain well, sprinkle the sesame oil, and stir it in the bowl.
  9. Add the chicken and wonton. Sprinkle some spring onions.
