The ingredients needed to make Multigrain khichdi:
  1. Prepare 1 cup mix grains includes tuvar dal,urad dal, mansoor dal,
  2. Prepare 1/4 cup porridge
  3. Take 1/4 cup moong dal
  4. Make ready 1 onion
  5. Prepare 1 tomato
  6. Prepare 4-5 garlic cloves
  7. Prepare 2 green chillies
  8. Prepare 2 tbsp chopped green coriander
  9. Make ready 1 inch ginger
  10. Get 1 tsp cumin seeds
  11. Get 1 tsp mustard seeds

Steps to make Multigrain khichdi:
  1. Wash and soak all mix grain for 10 mins.
  2. Heat oil in a cooker add cumin seeds and mustard seeds when it starts to crackle, add asafoetida, chopped ginger, garlic,onions,green chillies.
  3. Saute all above-mentioned ingredients now add turmeric powder and salt and add the mix grains add at least 4 cups of water and close the cooker for 2 whistles
  4. Open and healthy khichdi is ready keep the consistency accordingly garnish with chopped tomatoes, green coriander and lime juice,enjoy with fresh curd.
